Firstly, Happy New Year !
The website is now a year old and those 12 months have absolutely sped past, although GOWI itself is actually closing in on eight years of age and must be one of the longer standing sports betting blogs around.
I think I am previewing nine events for newsletter subscribers today, I say "think" as I am still fine tuning the follow up email, there were six match previews in the first, one of which you can read below and it is looking like three in the second, but that can always change at the last minute.
Premier League : Everton-Southampton
Despite going two down early, Villa did us a favour in their last away start, a 2-2 draw with local rivals WBA, ahead of which I wrote ....

Fairly quiet week by clubgowi standards, but we are ahead heading into the weekend and on course (knock wood), to record our tenth winning week from the last eleven.
Just two selections today, but I am just finishing off my notes for what seems sure to be four Football League games tomorrow and we are also covering another 3-4 "in running". Sunday it will be all about Brazilian football and the NFL and in total, we should have previews for circa 14 matches/events much like the one for Mexico in the post below.

Tomorrow looks far and away the most interesting day of the midweek, at least in terms of quality of fixtures,with a full round in Brazil getting underway, I also want to take a look at the DP World Tour Championship golf and one other event and might have to split things over two emails, but will update that in the morning, as usual the next newsletter is due at 10.00 UK time on Wednesday.
