There was either a glitch on the website, or I made an error (more likely!), when I posted some pre-tournament Open Championship notes last week and instead of just posting the Top 20 bet (see previous post), I included one of my two main outright bets and that was 2 units on the winner Xander Schauffele @ 17.0! The other was 2.5 units each way Shane Lowery @ up to 46.0 and he finished 6th (8 places) and was trading at circa even money to win at one stage on Saturday! 

Lowery would have been much better for me personally, but he landed the place bet and Schauffele was a worthy and deserved winner and played the best golf by far across the four days.
