I am off to Griffin Park shortly for Brentford- West Bromwich Albion, these are the two best offensive units in the Championship IMO and it should be fun !
Bees have scored 20 in six home starts, 3+ goals in five of those , Albion got back to winning and free scoring ways in midweek with a 3-0 defeat of Swansea City, in the first game since the "surprise" dismissal of head coach Darren Moore.
It is how those goals might come which is of interest.............
At lovely old GP, which will be demolished next year and, that brings a lump to my throat just thinking about it, Brentford have conceded 11 goals in the opening 30 minutes, just 8 in the last hour. They can often start slowly and take a while to change up through the gears. However, they are 6-0 (scored /conceded) before the break and 24-8 in the second half, only two teams in the Championship can better that in the full 90 minutes.
So, from the 31st minute onwards, they are 32-8 +24 goals , which is +1.33 per game, over a 60 minute period in one of the most competitive leagues in Europe. The Bees are made for "in play" betting.
