Ligue 1 last 5 game updated stats

ITB = chances created-conceded inside the box.

BC = big chances created- conceded.

Pts = points earned in the last 5 games.

opp = average league placing of teams faced over those five games.

xGF = expected goals created.

xGA = expected goals conceded.

F-A = actual goals scored- conceded.

For example :

Angers have only created 24 ITB attempts and 6 BC's , with an xG of 4.51 , picking up just 5 points, in games against teams with an average league placing of 16th, conceding more in each statistical category.

Similarly placed Montpellier have played much better opposition ( 8.2 average placing) , collected twice as many points with an extra 36 attempts ITB, 14 BC's and a greater xG of 7.8 .

I think there is an awful lot to take from these numbers and multiple ways to use and/or view them.
