Pts = points
GD = goal difference
XP= expected points
XGD = expected goal difference
ITB = inside the box net numbers for the season
L8 = inside the box totals (created-conceded) for the last 8 games.
The first three columns are "real" in terms of points won and goals scored/conceded, but league tables do sometimes "lie" even after 26 games and the last four columns are more interesting as they show performance levels and who has been over/underachieving in front of goal at both ends of the pitch.

May 06, 2020The Bundesliga now looks set to return to action on May 15 after Germany's Chancellor, Angela Merkel, who was originally thought to be insisting on a two-week quarantine for all clubs before the league can resume , has now agreed to reduce that to 7 days and allowed the actual start date to be decided by the DFL (German Football League) ,who will hold a general meeting by video conference on Thursday where representatives from the clubs will finalise details .
