Italian Serie A
Serie A betting article: Sampdoria-Catania
Dec 08, 2013Serie A betting preview: Bologna-Juventus
Dec 06, 2013Straddling this game like the Sword of Damocles, is Juve's midweek trip to Galatasaray in the Champions League, where they have to avoid defeat to progress to the knock out stage, having already struggled against the Turkish champions in Turin, they will be well aware of what awaits them in Istanbul. Holding a healthy three point advanatge over Roma at the top of Serie A, I know full well that Juve would snatch your arm off for a 1-0 win this evening and if they do take the lead, I expect them to go into their shell and conserve as much energy as possible for Tuesday.
Serie A betting preview :Udinese-Internazionale
Nov 03, 2013Very busy day for clubgowi today, five football and three NFL selections and you can read one of those eight previews below. It is probably the least interesting and definitely the smallest stake football preview, but is free ( subscribers have had to pay a massive 2.7 euros for the other seven previews !) and better than nothing.
Serie A betting preview: Atalanta -Internazionale
Oct 29, 2013Five selections for subscribers to the clubgowi newsletter today and you can read one of those match previews below.
Inter have performed really well in these midweek Serie A fixtures, winning five of the last six, with the loss coming in what was really a meaningless fixture for them. This match is far from that and already four points off Champions League pace, they need a maximum return to put pressure on the top three, who play later in midweek.
Serie A betting preview: Internazionale-Fiorentina
Sep 26, 2013Inter will go second with a win and look to be heading back in the right direction under the leadership of Walter Mazzari ( who, contrary to popular belief, is not one of the 27 Baldwin brothers). They have been greatly helped by an easy schedule, but their four wins have come by a combined 16-0, including a 7-0 road win at Sassuolo last weekend and the draw came against champions Juventus, so things could hardly have gone better, especially as they ended last season with just five wins from 22 starts. Mazzari chose the Sassuolo fixture to re-introduce Diego Milito, who played for 37 minutes and scored twice and also contributed an assist, in a 37 minute appearance and I suspect that was as pleasing as the actual result for the club. The former Napoli boss spent heavily on some young and promisng domestic talent in the summer , but is not rushing to introduce them into the starting eleven and we might see the best of Icardi, Belfodil and Taider next season, having said that , all three are in the squad tonight, along with Milito. The real improvement has co me from the existing experienced players and Mazzari has got far more out of them (especially Alvarez, Jonathan and Nagatomo), than his predecessor.Rodrigo Palacio has continued scoring goals and the increased competition from Milito will help both him and Inter.
Sunday's newsletter covering Serie A, EPL, PGA and Superbowl
Feb 03, 2013Below is a copy of today's newsletter, which was sent to subscribers in two emails, the first this morning and the other at lunchtime, the only part I have removed relates to some prop bets on the Superbowl. Juventus have already won by that single goal (3.70) and Tottenham (2.14) won 1-0, so a solid start to the day.

Jan 26, 2013Serie A:
On the road, Genoa are 2-2-6, but have only conceded 13 goals, just one less than 3rd placed Lazio, they are well organised, disciplined and keep their shape well, they have performed well against the top clubs conceding just two goals and collecting five points from visits to Lazio, Udinese, Milan and Inter.
No Andrea Pirlo or Giorgio Chielleni for Juventus, who even given their resources, face a daunting 17 days with Serie A matches against Chievo and Fiorentina, a Champions League trip to Glasgow and Coppa Italia semi final against Lazio.
