clubgowi will be 18 years old at the end of this month!

Starting life as the Gambling and Other Wholesome Interests (GOWI) blog way back on March 31st 2006, it has now evolved into the website and daily newsletter service.

At the time I was writing the first blog notes Tony Blair was UK Prime Minister, George W Bush President of the US, Saddam Hussein was on trial and Sven-Göran Eriksson  was still England manager. Airbnb, Instagram, Fitbit, Uber, WhatsApp, Tinder, Spotify were all still ideas yet to be developed, Facebook was in its infancy, the first iphone was a year away from being released. Amazon and Tesla were ticking along nicely but few, not even Jeff Bezos or Elon Musk would have tipped them to enter the 2020's as amongst the world's most valuable brands (ok, Musk might have done !). Donald Trump.........no, don't get me started! It was a very long time ago, but clubgowi is still around and churning out quality product daily, which is delivered to the inbox of supscribers and what you is see here ,on the website, is a very sample, just a taster, of that output. But what a tasty taster it has been!
