Masters champion Scottie Scheffler leads after a 63 yesterday, his last four starts have seen him finish 1-1-2-1 and he is in the driving seat once again. Scheffler has played eight Sunday rounds this year and shot 66-65-66-68-66-64-68-66 and he is just not playing the same game as anyone else on Tour. He is priced at circa 1.80 to win and it is difficult to argue too much with that.

 

However, it is hard to go super low two days running and whilst Scheffler is not playing by normal rules, the two times he has shot sub 65 during a tournament this season, he has followed it with a 71 and 70 and it is possible that we might see a reaction/levelling out today and there is plenty of quality on the leaderboard waiting to pounce if the "best golfer on the planet" shows any signs of weakness.
