The clubgowi newsletter service runs 52 weeks a year on a daily basis and I love our summer sport, but I have to be honest and say that it is still hard not to get excited as the European football seasons come back around. The EFL (English Football League) starts next week the Premier League, Ligue 1 and 2 and Italy Serie A, all commence the following week and the Bundesliga the week after that and even writing those words fill me with anticipation and enthusiasm for what lies ahead.

There was either a glitch on the website, or I made an error (more likely!), when I posted some pre-tournament Open Championship notes last week and instead of just posting the Top 20 bet (see previous post), I included one of my two main outright bets and that was 2 units on the winner Xander Schauffele @ 17.0! The other was 2.5 units each way Shane Lowery @ up to 46.0 and he finished 6th (8 places) and was trading at circa even money to win at one stage on Saturday!
