The visitors have not scored a domestic goal in four outings and have been doing the "friendly" tour with matches against Bayern, Milan and Benfica in Europe and Kashma in Japan, all inside eight days and I doubt any of the squad are in the best of shape, or know which city they are in this morning ! Plenty of rotation in those games of course, but all the "names" travelled apart from Luis Fabiano and it is the journey more than the game, which will have taken it's toll, as will the shortage of really competitive recent action. Centre backs Edson Silva and Paulo Miranda (7-0-1 .... 0-0-4 without him ,conceding 10 goals in the process) are injured, along with left back Thiago Carleto and defensive midfielder Denílson (6-0-0) and that robs them of a lot of defensive options.

They remain without Silva, Miranda, Carlito and Denilson (see all above) and they are joined on the sidelines by suspended right back Douglas (9-0-1... 0-0-3 without him). In the three matches that both Miranda and Douglas have missed, they conceded seven goals ( two matches were at home), including a 2-0 defeat to Santos here, which is their (Santos) only road win all season and they have only managed two goals in their other four away starts, so it does not augur well.

Atletico arrive without suspended winger Zezinho (8-0-3), but have no other new reported problems.

Looking at the defensive problems facing the hosts and recent form, it is hard to agree with their low odds to win the match, but they are in desperate need of a win and should be recovered from their world tour ! The fact that the visitors have not won here in so long is a bit of a concern as it can get into the mind of some players. The visitors to score two or more at circa 3.25-3.40 is tempting given their free scoring nature and again, the problems of the hosts and I will take that for 0.75 units.
